 * Hello,
 * I am wondering if this plugin works with version 4.5.3? I’ve been using this
   plugin for a while but noticed that it’s no longer working. When I try to perform
   a manual backup, the checkmark appears to show that it completes; however, no
   backup file is actually created.
 * Any ideas?
 * Thanks!
    Jason

 * I use this plugin on a lot of sites that are all on 4.5.3 and most are fine,
   but there have been a few anomalies where backups hang even if they’re really
   small and logically shouldn’t time out, or manual backups just don’t do anything
   like what you describe.
 * In most cases, what has fixed it for me is completely removing the plugin and
   then reinstalling it. After doing this I only have one site (out of a handful
   having this issue) that is still giving me headaches so I believe that one has
   a separate issue going on, and reinstalling the plugin should work in most cases.

 * Thanks for the input. I did try re-installing the plugin, but it still does the
   same thing. I get the animated spinning wheel and then a checkmark. But, no backup
   file is created, and no errors are provided.
 * The backup folder, however, is created. I can only assume something is failing.
   Our file backup size is usually under 35MB, so we really shouldn’t be running
   into capacity issues.
 * Also, an older version of the plugin is still working fine for an older version
   of WP on production site.
 * Have noticed other users experiencing something similar recently in the forum
   too.

 * I figured it out! Was trying to use it on a non-production site which had restricted
   IP access. Once I allowed the IP address of our server to access…itself (!),
   it worked.
 * Hope this helps others out there. 🙂
