 * I read the changelog for this plugin and it looks like this plugin automatically
   clears the WP Super Cache when a redirect is added to a post, page, settings
   changed, etc. Is that true?
 * The current redirector plugin I use (called “Redirector”) does not automatically
   clear the WP Super Cache cache, so if the WP Super Cache doesn’t get manually
   cleared then it causes issues on my site.
 * I would like to find a redirect plugin that works better with WP Super Cache
   and am hoping this plugin will solve my issues.

 * The plugin does call the WP Super Cache clear cache function when a redirect
   is added or removed.
 * The thing to keep in mind, is that many times the browser also caches the page
   or pages (depending on browser settings). That is also something that throws
   people off and makes them think the redirect is still in effect when in reality
   is it only the case for them until they clear their browser cache.
 * The plugin has cache clearing functionality for WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache,
   and WP Fast Cache. We still consider this functionality to be ‘experimental’
   because we do not actively monitor those plugins for changes or modifications–
   so it could stop working if they change their functionality.
 * Warmest regards,
    Don

 * Thanks Don!
 * Yeah, it was the caching plugin not getting cleared. Because you could view a
   recently updated page as a WP admin and it would work fine (since admins don’t
   get the cached pages), but if you viewed the site logged out, it would not reflect
   the changes unless the cache was manually cleared.
 * Also, is there a way to setup the plugin to automatically redirect to the first
   child? Or do you just have to set that up manually?

 * no problem.
 * You could set up a redirect from parent to first child manually.
 * If it will always be the case, it would be beneficial to do something more dynamic,
   however, the plugin does not have any way to do that automatically.
 * to do it automatically, you would need to add some functionality to check that
   scenario and redirect appropriately. I am sure you could find code to do that
   pretty easily.
 * Warm regards,
    Don
