# Workaround Memcache?

 * Hello!
 * Great plugin 🙂 Only, I’ve discovered that it doesnt work well when memcached
   is active. The counter does not log clicks properly. Sometimes I’ll click like
   and the counter wont update, sometimes maybe it does but then I can’t unlike 
   it, etc etc.
 * The statistics in the backend show that everything is logging as it should, but
   on the frontend the counter is never accurate and can become confusing to users.
 * I’ve tested both with and without memcached, and can confirm that memcache is
   the problem. I expect there is no method around this besides disabling my cache?
   If you have another proposal, then please let me know. Otherwise I will sadly
   have to delete the plugin 🙁

    Sorry for late answer! I’ve checked Memcached on several servers and no 
   problem has been detected! Do you also use a special cache plugin?

 * I use Total cache+memcached. The counter not working. It is updated every 5-10
   min because of the cache.
