 * I was trying to use the plugin with WP Advanced Ads widget, and it was not working.
   So I changed to a normal theme widget (text and html) and inserted there an ad
   shortcode, and the widget turned sticky. I am afraid that this plugin was not
   updated since 1 year ago. May it cause security or other breach in wordpress?
   Thanks and I hope you can keep doing a good job.

 * Hi juniorbra,
 * I am the developer of [Advanced Ads](https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-ads/).
   While I can not say anything about the security of Q2W3 Fixed Widget, I can say
   why it doesn’t work by default with the Advanced Ads widget. We have an option
   that makes it harder to block ad widgets for ad blockers, but at the same time
   breaks compatibility with Fixed Widget. Just go to Advanced Ads > Settings >
   General and disable the “Remove Widget ID” option.

 * Hi Thomas,
 * Thanks for your answer. If I disable the “Remove Widget ID” option my ads will
   be easily blocked by ad blockers right? One more question regarding to this…
   If I add a widget ad, but don’t use widget placement of Advanced Ads, is there
   any downside on that regarding to ad blockers?
 * Thanks

 * Hi juniorbra,
 * yes, the widgets have a static ID then which is easier for ad blockers to use
   for blocking it.
 * No problem regarding ad blockers if you use the normal text widget with the shortcode
   of the ad.
 * If you have more questions regarding Advanced Ads then please let me know in
