# Worst offending plugins?

 * I had a client move to wp-engine, and was surprised to see plugins they didn’t
   allow. Does anyone have a bad plugin experience they want to share? I’m thinking
   about a blog post on this topic. Thanks!

 * You may to need to be more specific. If your client is self hosted, then the “
   they” you refer to, most likely has _no_ control over what plugins are being 
   used by your client.
 * Unless you’re referring to a printed policy specific to a particular hosting 
   service, or referring to a free blog hosted on wordpress.com, I can’t recall 
   ever encountering a similar issue (_plugins they didn’t allow_).
 * If you’re referring to a site on [wordpress.com](http://en.support.wordpress.com/),
   be sure to brush up on the differences (wordpress.org vs wordpress.com) as part
   of your research.
 * In either case, your lead in and support title doesn’t appear congruous with 
   the topic you are researching, and you seem to be mixing two completely separate
   issues; Not to mention, asking a question that just begs to be peppered with 
   _enormously_ subjective responses. (One mans garbage, etc, etc…)

 * **WP engine** managed WordPress hosting, offering _“Curated Plugins & Themes”_
 * I would guess it might function much like wordpress.com, but [I’ll leave the actual research to you](http://wpengine.com/support/disallowed-plugins/).
