 * Greetings; In the WP admin dashboard area (where various plugins are highlighted)
when you click on the link of the plugin to review the info, the link makes you
leave your admin area. Any way to have that link open up to a new window instead
of taking you off the users’ site?
    Thanks, KC

 * Yes, if you right click on the link, your browser should give you the option
to view in new tab or new page.
 * On a Mac, I hold down command key while clicking the link and it opens in a new
tab. On windows, I think it’s Control click.

 * There’s arguements about this, both for and against. What it basicaly comes down
to is that a website shouldn’t decide on what the user does in their own browser,
so forcing a new window or tab should not be allowed. Thats why the `target="
_blank"` attribute has been removed from the HTML specifications, and if you’re
going to have a standards-compliant page, you can’t use it. Personally I don’t
have an issue with that functionality, but it’s been decreed from higher sources
then just WordPress that it’s not desired functionality.

 * The only argument that I have (due to ignorance) is that since we’re logged in
on WP when we leave, is there any trailing info that can be copied/etc.? I agree
w/pxforti—If we’re going to a external site, I want the choice to see the info
in a new browser. How do I know where the link is going to take me? I can only
assume it’s back onto the WP site, but nowadays, who knows???

 * Te only info that WordPress uses for logged in users are cookies. Since browsers
do not allow cookies to be seen by other site,s your security is not affected.
If this wasn’t the case, you’d be able ot see cookies from any browser window
anyway, so it wouldn’t make a difference if you opened a new window or not.

 * If you mouseover the link the URL shows up in your browser’s status bar.

 * Can I force everyone to go directly to the wp-admin sign in php? When they type
in my url, instead of logging in once they can see my sight, I want to force
them to log in first and then see the site… do I have to do a redirect from my
   host?
