 * I just activated a new plugin and immediately my admin area went totally blank–
BLANK! No error message, just a vast white space.
 * I checked and my blog itself comes up.

 * Turn off the plugin. Without dashboard access you can use FTP or the File Manager
in your hosting account to rename the offending plugin folder.
 * If you can not find a suitable replacement for the offending plugin and the functionality
the plugin provides is necessary, post your issues at the support forum for the
   offending plugin.

 * Thanks to both of you. I renamed it and that worked.
    The plugin is an important
one, but the developer recommends it be put on its own WP install–for e-courses–
and that the blog be separate.
 * Well I did that, but I’m jsut experimenting and so I wanted to try it without
a separate site…and obviously that went well!
 * I don’t like the idea of needing a separate wp install, but I’ll do what I must.
   It’s a selfish plugin.
