# wp-admin error 404

 * After installing the script in my addon domain name at hostgator.com.
 * Everything went smoothly, I received my user/pass, and logged in and just after
   that I’m getting error 404 in the [http://grandtheftauto7.com/wp-admin/](http://grandtheftauto7.com/wp-admin/)
   section.
    Now if I try to re-log, I’ll get a 404 error in wp-login.php too.
 * Please I would like to find a solution.

 * You might want to contact your host. At first glance, it doesn’t appear as though
   your web server is configured to treat index.php as a default file.
 * [http://grandtheftauto7.com/index.php](http://grandtheftauto7.com/index.php) 
   works.
    [http://grandtheftauto7.com/](http://grandtheftauto7.com/) doesn’t.

 * I have the same problem – the host has a sign saying they don’t do WP support–
   can you tell me how you solved the problem? I see your blog is now up.
