# wp-admin error after update

 * Hi- I had not updated my site in few months and tried to upgrade about a week
   ago and now my public site still works but can’t access wp-admin. Cleared cookies
   and cache and still no avail. Error code in browser is 500.
 * Without access to admin I don’t know how to tell you what version WP I am running.

 * Thanks. Renamed the plugins folder and it got me in. I updated Genesis and the
   plugins and it is working now!
