# WP-admin errors, editor not working etc

 * Hello,
 * The editor in wordpress is not working, I installed a 2.8.6 .. thought that an
   upgrade to 2.9 would fix my problem, but nothing. So then I did a clean install
   of 2.8.6 (with files from a working installation) , but still no luck.
 * Basicly the font in my editor is white, and I have no functions whatsoever, I’ve
   tried some steps in other topics but no luck.
 * My FF error console shows these errors :
    (Fout = error, Bronbestand= source ,
   regel = line)

 * anyone got any clue how to fix this? :s (ps i’ve tried installing the tiny mce
   advanced, no luck)

 * Download a good 2.8.6 from here: [http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/](http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/)
 * and unpack it locally. Then re-upload wp-includes and wp-admin There are stil
   errors in there.

 * Hello,
 * Before reinstall a clean copy of 2.9, delete any file in (or the entire folder):
   `
   wp-content/uploads/js_cache/`
 * Also if you use any cache plugin, disable it and delete all cached files before
   upgrade.

 * Thanks both for the replies.
 * I downloaded the good 2.8.6 , deleted wp-includes / wp-admin and reuploaded. (
   do not have /uploads_js_cache/)
 * sadly without result :/
