 * My site url: [https://zestyswimwear.com](https://zestyswimwear.com) I migrated
   my entire website plus database from WordPress.com to a self-hosted server. The
   website is pretty much intact, but I cannot access the wp-admin.php page. I have
   tried each of the following solutions:
    – I have changed my current theme to
   twentynineteen (default) – I deactivated all my plugins – I checked the admin
   user credentials on the database – it seems correct. – I deleted the htaccess
   file None of the above efforts had any results. Are there perhaps other solutions
   I can try? I have made so many changes to the CSS of the existing theme and some
   plugins that I would really like to avoid having to start over from scratch.
   Thanks!!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fwp-admin-php-cannot-be-found%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi,
 * you should use [https://zestyswimwear.com/wp-admin](https://zestyswimwear.com/wp-admin)
   to access the wp dashboard.

 * Hi. Perhaps I need to clarify: I also get this error when trying to access it
   it via [https://zestyswimwear.com/wp-admin](https://zestyswimwear.com/wp-admin)–
   the message is: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”.
    Also after
   logging in, it takes me to the home page with no dashboard access. So in other
   words, I have no access to the Dashboard.

 * Hi,
 * [https://zestyswimwear.com/wp-admin](https://zestyswimwear.com/wp-admin) works
   for me, and shows the WordPress login page.
 * It looks like your “admin” user has lost his administrator capabilities. Or do
   you have a WordPress user roles plugin active?
 * As you can’t access the dashboard, you could try manually fixing your account,
   or create a new admin user. This is a bit tricky, but there are several topics
   with various suggestins.
 * Fixing the current admin user capabilities: see the last post in this thread:

 * Thank you. Yes, it was indeed the missing user roles which caused the issue.
   Just for interest sake – when you migrate your database from WordPress.com, there
   seems to be no wp_user_roles in the tables, so we copied it over from a fresh
   WordPress install. Voila – problem solved!
