 * Hi – I have noticed an odd behaviour with a few websites that use WP Cerber and
   have changed the default login page from /wp-admin/
 * If the “confirm admin email” page is triggered (which WordPress seems to do from
   time to time), and you have set Cerber to change/hide the default login page,
   the page initially loads with a 404 not found error. I have discovered that if
   I refresh the page I see the proper admin email verification page, then I can
   continue to log in.
 * I’ve noticed this on my computer (MBP running Safari) and a customer has also
   reported it (another Mac user – don’t know what browser they are using)
 * It can’t easily be recreated (afaik) because once you’ve confirmed the admin
   email the page doesn’t get shown again.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fwp-admin-redirection-glitch%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi! Please, remember that wp-admin is not a login page. Please see this explanation:

 * You’re right, a mistype on my part when I posted this message. But still; I’ve
   used the Cerber login redirection function to change the standard login page
   and when I use that address (in my case it’s domain.com/secret/) and the admin
   verification page is triggered, I see the error I mentioned above.

 * How do you see that error? In what form?

 * I can’t recreate it, and I only mentioned it because a customer reported it to
   me as an error. Refreshing the page gets you through to the admin email verification
   page, so I’d always just put up with it.
 * I thought you might like to know.
 * The next time I see it I’ll take a screenshot.

 * Hi Gregory,
 * I had to wait until a different website displayed the admin email confirmation
   screen and I have some screenshots which might help explain what I’m seeing.
 * Visit the (moved) login page as normal by going to
    [http://domain.com/secret/](http://domain.com/secret/)
 * Enter username and password and click: Log in
 * Site displays error:
    Not Found The requested URL /secret/ was not found on this
   server.
 * Refresh the page and alert displays:
    Are you sure you want to send a form again?
   To reopen this page Safari must resend a form. This might result in duplicate
   purchases, comments or other actions.
 * Click: Send
 * Then it displays the Administration email verification page
    Administration email
   verification Please verify that the administration email for this website is
   still correct.

 * Please make sure that a caching plugin is not involved. It’s also possible that
   your hosting provider has installed it for you.
