# wp-admin screen white/cannot access

 * When I try to access wp-admin the screen is white. the website itself comes up
   fine, but I cannot access the admin page.

 * There could be a PHP error. Did you make any code changes in the core files? 
   You can try enabling [error logging](https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Configure_Error_Logging)
   to see if you can get more information.

 * I managed to get in by deactivating optimize press in the ftp, but when I save
   a change to a page it goes to a white screen again. this si what I do not like
   about WP. no customer support.
