wp-admin slow to load with this plugin enabled

/wp-admin/ is extremely slow to load at certain times.
It takes about 10 minutes to load the page, this only happens in the wp-admin.

Server is dedicated and light, CPU usage is normal, memory usage is normal, hard disk usage is normal.
Number of requests on the server is also normal, I did not find any fault coming from our server.

It’s not often that happens.

I believe the plugin is doing some request on some external server and it is facing instabilities. And the plugin keeps trying to connect to that external server forever.
