# wp-admin/install.php Not working

 * Hi I’m having trouble running the installer script. In Safari I get the message(
   Sorry this site is not available), and in Firefox it takes me through to the 
   forum. Is there a problem with installation at the moment. I installed yesterday
   with no problems.

 * Same here. I was installing about 40 minutes ago and the install page wasn’t 
   found. I wonder what is happening.

 * I’m trying to install WordPress on my server to run the blog from there instead
   of linking to wordpress.com when I run the installer script as I have before 
   on other sites I keep getting this message (Site is not available). I have set
   everything up as in the 5min Instillation guide. Any ideas?

 * I have uploaded the files to the “/” directory.
 * When I try to run the install.php I get the following error message:
 * The requested URL /wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.
 * I can’t even get to the readme.html file.
 * Any ideas?

    if you can’t get the readme.html then you’re not installed in the correct
   place

    no – sorry not familiar with them has your domain name had time
   to propagate? It can take up to 24 hours.
