# wp-admin/post.php access denied

 * Hi,
 * when I publish or update posts with media (eg: image ) it results to foloowing
   message.
 * **Access Denied
    You don’t have permission to access “[http://example.com/wp-admin/post.php&#8221](http://example.com/wp-admin/post.php&#8221);
   on this server.
 * I can upload images to media library, but cannot use inside post content by using
   add media button.
    I can use the media images as featured image and it is working
   fine. If the post have only text (without media) it is working fine. The issue
   is only when I try to publish or update posts with media inside post content.
   My website is installed by bluehosts wordpress installation. previously the site
   works fine. I tried following but no love :
    - htaccess mod_security
    -  all plugins deactivated
    -  changed permission of wp-content folder
 * Can anybody help me, Thanks in advance.

 * If this site worked previously, it may be that you’ll need to contact Bluehost.
   Meanwhile, though, it’d be helpful if you’d post a site url. It might also be
   helpful if you opened your wp-config.php file, either via your host’s file manager
   or FTP (preferably secure FTP) & change wp-debug from false to true. Change it
   back as soon as you obtain the errors, as it does pose a significant security
   risk. If there are errors, which I suspect, please post those in your reply, 
   as well as your site’s url.
 * Lastly, please let us know what plugins you’re running, as well as whether this
   is a single or multisite installation.

 * Make sure that your wp-admin/post.php (or whatever the file is) is owned by you/(
   your username) (chmod) and that the permissions on it are set to 644 and Folder
   permissions are 755.

 * Hi all,
 * Problem fixed! The issue is related to some server configuration. The server 
   guy done some redirection that causes this error. Thank you all for your support.

 * Just wanted to say thank you. I was experiencing similar problems with my website,
   and after changing the file permissions — all was better!
