WP cannot access database after domain name change

    Fixed! I clicked “update options” on the permalinks options page. It seems that it needed to be refreshed as I changed the permalinks before the DNS change had propagated.

    i’m having a similar problem. i asked my web host to “transfer” all my files from my current site to a new domain i recently purchased.

    in phpmyAdmin, i changed the URLs on both the “siteurl” (page 1) and “home” (page 2).

    the front page of my site displays, but anything i click on has the 404 Not Found error. i cannot access WordPress at all (http://sitename/wp-login gives me the 404 Not Error error as well). how do i resolve this?
