# WP caption image floating

 * The default WP inserting image allows for captions and alignment. But it does
   not seem possible to insert more than one image on a single line. Example: display:
   inline. When I insert the images they are in a column down the left or right.
   I want to be able to do float: left or float: right. Here is some of my code:

 * Images with the class `alignnone` do exactly that – they aren’t aligned (floated)
   either left or right. Try setting the Alignment to Left or Right when inserting
   the images into a post or page.

 * I tried that but it does not seem to be affecting the images but only text. Possibly
   I need to try various combination. Thanks for looking in to this.
