 * I find the plugin very helpful. Does anyone know if I can use wp-cli to set this
   up for the user and activate the Email setting? Tried the following: wp user 
   update 2 –two_factor_enabled_providers = 1

 * That’s a great question! There is [an open issue for adding WP CLI support](https://github.com/WordPress/two-factor/issues/233)
   to the plugin but there hasn’t been any activity on implementing the feature,
   yet.
 * Here is [a temporary solution](https://github.com/WordPress/two-factor/issues/307#issuecomment-624843209)
   to enable the email two-factor authentication for all users that don’t have any
   other second-factor authentication enabled.
