# wp-comments-post.php?for=jetpack 404 (Not Found)…

 * I released my website yesterday, moving WordPress up one folder from a _dev_ 
   directory.
 * (e.g **from:** /www/sitedir/devdir/ **to:** /www/sitedir/)
 * Everything is working great except comments. I get a 404 when submitting a comment.
 * I looked at the network traffic and discovered the 404 error:
    `www.u2act.com/
   devdir/funny-wpdir-name/wp-comments-post.php?for=jetpack 404 (Not Found).`
 * The path should be:
    `www.u2act.com/funny-wpdir-name/wp-comments-post.php?for
   =jetpack`
 * How can if fix the Jetpack comments config to use the correct path?

 * I resolved the problem by simply disconnecting Jetpack from wordpress.com, then
   reconnecting. Apparently the path info is stored on wordpress.com.
