# wp-config.php location

 * wordpress allows to have the wp-config.php [one level up](https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/security/hardening/#securing-wp-config-php)
   but the plugin searches for it only in the default location. would be great if
   it would also look in the other location.

 * I am facing the same issue. The log is showing “Unable to find wp-config.php”
   because it is located one level up.
