 * Off the top of my head I would try to download a fresh install of WordPress and
   use the sample wp-config.php file to create a new one and upload that to your
   site via FTP and then try to login. At least, that’s my gut intuition on it.

 * The password on the wp-config.php isn’t the same that you will find on CPanel.
   Does not work. Don’t know why.
