 * WP control panel lets me create new categories but they do not show up on the
   website. Instead the following error message apprars.What can I do?

 * You theme probably needs to be updated to make use of the [template tag](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags),
   [wp_list_bookmarks()](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_bookmarks).

 * perhaps your template uses a deprecated tag like `wp_list_cats`or `list_cats`.
