 * I downloaded the WP-DBManager and installed it and it keeps asking me the following
   two paths:
 * I host my wordpress website with GoDaddy, how can I get these two paths.
 * Checking MYSQL Dump Path …
    MYSQL dump path does NOT exist. Please check your
   mysqldump path under DB Options. If uncertain, contact your server administrator.

 * I recommend using an alternate plugin like [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/)
   if you got problems getting it to work.

 * I have **not **be able to get it to work on Godaddy account and I have wasted
   lots of time with customer support and by myself trying to get the darn plugin
   to work.
 * People that say “ignore the problem” or “I got it to work on Godaddy.com” make
   me ask ONE QUESTION: “Have you ever RESTORED YOUR BLOG ON GODADDY USING THIS
   PLUGIN?”
 * I say that because I can get to to “successfully save a backup” of my blog. When
   I try to “**restore**” my blog from that backup file, Nothing but error and failure!
 * The only way I can get it to save a backup is if I click the “**Gzip**” option.
   And after it does save the backup .sql file, I **cannot **restore the blog with
   that file or any file generated by this plugin anyway.
 * ***** PLease note that this backup plugin **works like a charm** on my blogs
   or clients’ blogs hosted on hostmonster.com and bluehost.com
 * The reason I don’t want to use the other backup that GamerZ (GamerZ created WP-
   DBManager BTW!) is recommending is because I was told by someone that really
   knows that the other program will only backup posts and pages but not images (
   and sidebars, I think). Plus I don’t think the restore process is so easy. I
   need something easy for my clients.
 * I need to get this one to work is because with WP-DBManager my clients can save
   their own ASS all by themselves completely without calling me in a panic! Plus
   WP-DBManager is so highly recommended all over the place!
 * I just don’t want to give up yet. If anyone has any updated information on the
   correct MySQL paths for this plugin on **GODADDY.com,** please post or let me
   know at

 * Thanks so much!
 * Sincerely,
 * Jupiter Jim

 * it’s works
    try
 *     ```
       Path To mysqldump: /usr/bin/mysqldump
       Path To mysql: /usr/bin/mysql
       ```
 * and Gzip Off-No
 * Hi,
    I also get the exact error about the paths. I’m hosted with Hawk Host and
   in my open_basedir it doesn’t include mysql. But when I click on “Backup”, it
   generates a backup sql file. I’m just not sure if it was able to backup everything
   in my wordpress DB.
 * The end of file says, “– Dump completed on 2010-06-20 15:28:00”
 * I’m just thinking it might just be a path checking error or what.
   folder exists Backup folder is writable
 * Checking MYSQL Dump Path (/usr/bin/mysqldump) …
    MYSQL dump path exists.
 * Checking MYSQL Path (/usr/bin/mysql) …
    MYSQL path exists.
 * Checking PHP Functions (passthru(), system() and exec()) …
    passthru() enabled.
   system() enabled. exec() enabled.
 * Lester, instead of helping or fixing the problem, tell them to use a different
   plugin? Seriously? Great support there bud!
 * I too have the same issue:
 * Checking MYSQL Dump Path …
    MYSQL dump path does NOT exist. Please check your
   mysqldump path under DB Options. If uncertain, contact your server administrator.
 * Checking MYSQL Path …
    MYSQL path does NOT exist. Please check your mysql path
   under DB Options. If uncertain, contact your server administrator.
 * The backups state they are being done successfully, however, they do not contain
   all of the posts that exist on the site, only a portion of one of them.
 * Any ideas?
