Wp e-commerce 3.8.11.1 broken links

Have upgraded site to latest wpec version but having problems with the navigation links which should got to pages I have created instead it pulls up latest post or if there are no posts then a blank page. Also tried creating a new page this results in the same problem.
I have flushed the cache and saved permalinks several times.
This is a real problem as I can’t go live with this until is fixed.
