# [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Checkout Error: “Please Provide Zip Code…”

 * I’ve installed the WP e-commerce plugin.
 * I’ve set it up on my blog and added a fewe products.
 * I have gone to test it to see if it works and it all oges well until I get to
   the checkout process. I press calculate and it give this message in red:
 * “Please provide a Zipcode and click Calculate in order to continue.”
 * There is no way I can add a zip code, but I can choose country. SO I choose my
   counrty and it throws the same error:
 * “Please provide a Zipcode and click Calculate in order to continue.”
 * It refuses to calculate the total.
 * Does anyone have any idea how to get around this so that it calculates the total
   that I owe?

 * I’ve had the same problem and I figured it out (with help of other forums of 
   course).
 * If you use flat rate shipping, go in and put a ‘0’ into all the fields.
 * Then in each of your products set the price for shipping where it says flat rate
   shipping (and gives you a field to enter numbers in).
 * Now save your settings, clear the cash, refresh and try again. It should work.
 * It only seems to work for USA and Canada for me so far, and USA outlying islands
   gave the same problem of having to enter a zipcode, with no place to enter it.
