# WP Editor saves http as https

    When I save an http://
   link on a webpage, it is immediately converted to https://
 * The host SiteGround is the DNS provider.
    My website has an SSL certificate.
 * My problem does not involve the handling of http:// on inbound links.
    [http://w7aw.org](http://w7aw.org)
   is converted to [https://w7aw.org](https://w7aw.org) on inbound links. It works
   correctly.
