# WP Forms Lite

 * I am getting this Error Message on my Contacts page WP Form. Error related to
   javascript. It has appeared over the last 2 weeks. I have deactivated, checked
   the version date for PhP, cleared cache and still here. I still can receive messages
   from the form! 
   Appreciate some help,

 * I submitted the form on [https://americanpoliticaltimeline.com/contact/](https://americanpoliticaltimeline.com/contact/),
   and I could see this error: “The form was unable to submit. Please contact the
   site administrator.” For your reference, I created [this screencast](https://a.supportally.com/v/aOS5MQ).
 * Problems with form submission often result from a conflict between the cached
   site and the anti-spam protection feature in WPForms. For details on how to solve
   this issue, please refer to our [guide about troubleshooting cache settings](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-optimize-cache-settings-to-fix-submission-errors/).
 * To address the issue, there are 3 options:
 * 1) You can adjust your site caching to a maximum of 45 hours;
   2) You can change
   the cache lifetime of the WPForms form token following [this guide](https://wpforms.com/developers/how-to-change-the-cache-time-on-your-form-token/);
   3) You can disable the anti-spam protection feature in your form. And use another
   of our anti-spam features available in our [guide about preventing spam in WPForms](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-prevent-spam-in-wpforms/).
 * Looking at the screencast, you can see an error related to Autoptimize on Console.
   For this, I suggest checking our [guide on troubleshooting JavaScript errors](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-troubleshoot-javascript-issues-in-wpforms/),
   and following the [settings for Autoptimize](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-troubleshoot-javascript-issues-in-wpforms/#Autoptimize).
