Before it wasnt like that. Appears WPforms doesn’t use the same hooks (and from what I can tell, doesn’t use any of its documented hooks) when the form is set to submit via AJAX. * Bad news is, they don’t make it easy to hook into the AJAX method for custom validation. I’ve created an issue to track this ([https://github.com/bmarshall511/wordpress-zero-spam/issues/238](https://github.com/bmarshall511/wordpress-zero-spam/issues/238)).
