I back up weekly, and having been using the same backup job for months (maybe years) without changes. As of the 7/16/20 backup, wp-includes was included in the file. As of 7/23/20, it was not. * I tried downloading the 7/23/20 backup file via FTP to a different folder, and wp-includes was in that copy (viewing both files in 7zip). Double-checked file names were the same – yes. But file sizes were different. The copy of the file that I downloaded through WordPress had a smaller file size, and did not include wp-includes. * Note that this backup file was run BEFORE I switched out the new version of backwpup/ inc/class-destination-downloader.php. Since the problem appears to be in the preparation of the file for download rather than in the creation of the backup file, I thought this wouldn’t matter, right? The copy of the backup file that I downloaded via FTP does appear to be complete.
