# WP inserting code into hyperlinks, causing link failure

 * In my code I am writing:

 * However, when I update my page, WP is inserting my site domain before the hyperlink:

 * or even stranger:

 * I have cleared my cache and checked this in several browsers. The error occurs
   on all browsers. Also, I upgraded to the latest WP 3.3.1, and the error continued.

 * Why is this this happening, and how do I fix it?

 * Found the error:
 * Had “http;” (semicolon)
    should ahve been http: (colon)
 * sigh. Amazing what one keystroke can do!
