# WP Multisite

 * We have a client who want to have a multisite with three areas they work within,
   marketing, journalism and photo/video. On top of this they want their site in
   swedish and english.
 * We have set up the multi site with swedish names for the three sections under
   network administration -> web pages with these url’s
 * [https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.se/marknadsforing/](https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.se/marknadsforing/)
   
   [https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.se/journalistik/](https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.se/journalistik/)
   [https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.se/foto-video/](https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.se/foto-video/)
 * and the translation is done by wpml
 * Now for the english sites, the client want the url’s to be translated but unfortunately
   wpml only support translation of the subsites, not the main url. Is there a way
   to translate these so that when they have selected english the network url’s 
   change to english, i.e.

 * The main url is the domain of the website which has nothing to do with translation.
 * I think you want last three urls to be like:
 * [https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.en/marketing/](https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.en/marketing/)
   
   [https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.en/journalism/](https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.en/journalism/)
   [https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.en/photo-video/](https://fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.en/photo-video/)
 * resplacing .se with .en or something similar. So for this you need to have the
   domain:
    fullstorymedia.firstvisiondev.en or firstvisiondev.en and setup wordpress
   multisite with subdomains.
