# WP-Optimize image compression

 * I am already compressing images using the Smush plugin. I’m mostly interested
   in the minimize database feature and the cache feature of WP-Optimize. Do I have
   to use the image compression feature of WP-Optimize?

 * WPO uses the smush API. If you are using the smush plugin, don’t use WPO for 
   image compression as well.
 * You should be able to use all of the other plugin functionality
