# WP Piwik cannot conect over https

 * I’m trying to connect to my self hosted PIWIK server which also works on https.
   The SSL certificate is a commercial certificate and not a self signed. I can 
   only connect trough http. Any ideas or solution?

 * Please run the test script and check the results (Settings -> WP-Piwik -> Support)…
   maybe some redirection is done?
 * Also try to disable SSL peer verification (expert settings) and check again. 
   Does it work without verification?
