# WP Post Filter plugin not working

 * Hi there,
    I cannot get this plugin to work. I believe I followed all the instructions
   correctly but no filter menu appears at the top of my blog page.
 * I set up a filter for my Blog page in the settings panel and selected my categories.
   I added the shortcode [wppf] to my Blog page (note: this is the only content 
   in the page editor box since it’s a blog list page that feeds all posts to the
   page). All my blog posts have categories assigned.
 * I’m still working locally on MAMP so I cannot link to the site. I have screenshots
   of my settings but I cannot find a way to insert them into this message.
 * Please advise.
