    Hi Rene!!

First, great plugin!! I love it and I think it is amazing!!

Here is my one small dilemma with the plugin.

When I try to create the staging site for my company website Offers 2 Owners, the cloning process is successful BUT it generates a URL like this:

    https://www.offers2owners.com/welcomehomeoffers2ownerspublic_html

When I click on that URL, I’m take to a 404 page.

The plugin also gives me this message:

“WP Staging Folder Permission error: / is not write and/or readable.
Check if the folder / is writeable by php user www-data. File permissions should be chmod 755 or 777.”

I would like the URL to be:

    http://www.offers2owners.com/staging

I even changed the permissions like the plugin said but with no success.

Would you happen to know why the plugin is creating this URL and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for all your help regarding this matter.

    Pavon

Hi, is your website installed in a sub folder?

Than activate the subfolder option in wp staging settings and let me know if this works.

If not, you can contact me support [at] wp-staging.com
