# WP Static HTML Output setup examples?

 * Thanks for making this great plugin available.
 * I would really love to get this working so I can set sites up in WordPress as
   a development tool and then upload the finalized site to the clients hosting 
   even if it is restrictive or they don’t want to pay for updates as they don’t
   need all the functionality WordPress offers. I want to give them the option and
   streamline the design proces as well.
 * I am testing on Xampp version 2.5 on Windows.
 * I am able to create a .zip archive
 * However this is the path to where the actual files are inside the .zip file:
   
   C:\xampp\htdocs\kahrenr\wp-content\uploads\20129\wp-static-html-output-1-1346652413-
   JZW79076\kahrenr\
 * I also cannot extract it. I get the message cannot create index.html file?
 * But when I open the folders inside the .zip file, every post and page has it’s
   own folder with an index.html file and a trackback folder with another index.
   html file inside it. I also have folders for Category, author, feed, tag, wp-
   admin, wp-content and wp-includes.
 * The urls now all end in /index.html?
 * Could you create an example screenshot on what the site structure should look
   and specific examples of best Permalink set-up in WordPress to try to achieve
   it?
 * Sorry for being an annoying novice. But if you can explain it to me you can explain
   it to anyone!

 * Thanks for your interest in the plugin, nice to hear stories of it in the wild.
 * The index.html file generation is default as that is required for the static 
   display of the pages.
 * Your clients need never know about those files though, all links in the exported
   html will still be to /post-id/ etc not /post-id/index.html
 * It sounds like your ZIP file is OK, try moving that ZIP file to your desktop 
   and then extracting, may be a permissions thing with the folder you’re trying
   to extract it?
