# WP Statistics Shortcodes button

 * i’d like to remove the “WP Statistics Shortcodes” button in the post/page editor–
   in the old editor configuration with classic blocks, at least.
 * i thought the “Disable post/page editor widget:” check box in the settings Dashboard
   tab would do it but no.
 * i don’t want my authors to be using this so i’d rather disable it.
 * thanks in advance for any info.
