Without it, my blog bogs down the server. However, since I installed it, the plug in – Post Expirator ([http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-expirator/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-expirator/))– does not work and scheduled posts are not working. Does anyone have any idea how to resolve these issues? What do I have to do to explain that I don’t understand this kind of stuff. I’m a photographer, not a web master or programmer. I just want a simple way to get this off my system. If you make something easy to install you should make it equally easy to remove, or warn that it’s not for beginners. Otherwise yes, hire someone or host your blog at WordPress. com. 🙁 * futta – yikes. Safe mode really doesn’t help security but if you’re stuck with it look for the string “safe_mode” in wp-cache.php and delete the “return false;” that follows it 12 lines below. You’re using a self hosted WordPress install, and with that brings responsibilities and it’s a sign that you’re at least willing to get your hands dirty maintaining your website. * The first line of the instructions asks you to remove a single line from a single file, wp-config.php – use your ftp client to find it, edit the file, and upload it again. That will be enough to get your site back to working order.
