 * Same here. Is this plugin abandoned? I like this one – simple and doesn’t clutter
   up the admin interface!

 * I was able to locate an even better, just as simply built plugin– [MCE Table Buttons](http://wordpress.org/plugins/mce-table-buttons/).
 * I now consider EOL of WP TinyMCE Tables fortuitous. 🙂
