WP unable to create directory

Trying to play around with my theme and upload a new custom header and WP tells me that it cannot create the necessary directory and asks if my parent directory is writeable. I’m going to assume it isn’t.

So how do I make it writeable? Using cPanel X on Hosting Matters. Any help greatly appreciated.
