# wp_count_posts() useless ?

 * I’m trying to improve the speed of my backend/admin panel. And it seems that 
   your plugin sometimes calls a function/query that seems useless to me : wp_count_posts()(
   example : when i am on the admin order edit page)
 * Can you confirm if this is important or not ? If not, how could i deactivate 
   it, and let it run only when really necessary ?
 * A code in functions.php or an update of the plugin would be great.

 * We’re here to assist you with this.
 * Please update the plugin to the latest version (5.7.9). Then, navigate to **Admin
   Dashboard → Instock Notifier → Settings → Troubleshoot Settings (Experimental)
   → Hide Subscriber Count (Admin Side)** and enable this option. Once done, check
   if the issue is resolved.

 * Hello,
 * I have updated the plugin to v5.7.9, and have enabled the option : Hide Subscriber
   Count (Admin Side). There is no counter on Admin Side, indeed, but :
    1. i didn’t have the problem at the time 😉 (see first screenshot)
    2. the query still executes (see screenshot here below)
 * Can you dig further please, to avoid the query to execute ?
