WP_DEBUG messages

    CMB2 seems to issue a lot of debug warnings when WP_DEBUG is turned on. I have some users who insist on running with WP_DEBUG and then wind up slamming my plugin in reviews because it’s generating warnings. Just wanted to ask that you consider addressing those warnings, because they are confusing some users and negatively affecting ratings. Thanks!

    Can you provide some examples of the warnings as well as some example code for how you’re setting things up using CMB2? Would love see how far up the chain they originate from, so we can best assist in where things need addressed.

    Sorry, was not seeing notifications for your replies @dgewirtz. My apologies there.

    From the looks of it, it’s coming from this spot:

    protected function field_actions( $field ) {
		switch ( $field['type'] ) {

    Specifically the switch statement. This would be becase apparently the $field array does not have a type key specified in some way.

    With that said, it looks like a field isn’t being set up properly and specifying the type of field to use. Hard to say which one though. Somewhere in the chain of using add_field and add_group_field isn’t quite right. At best, we could do something like an isset() check but beyond that, not sure what to say at the moment.

    @oludarebello1 Seamless Donations is definitely experiencing this issue. Do you have any pointers on whether you think Seamless Donations is causing it?
