There seems to be some problem with the template for displaying internal links as you can see in the link provided.

Instead of a nice short preview it uses the markup of the page being previewed. Can you please help me to resolve this problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You’re saying just the link appears but you are expecting a preview of the target page? How did you enter the link? Inside anchor tags or just the link itself? oEmbed expects just the link, on its own line, with no preceding whitespace or content.

If that’s what you did, it could be an issue with how bbPress handles forum posts. If you entered a link on a plain WP post or WP page, without involving bbPress, do you get what you expect? If so, I suggest you inquire at the dedicated bbPress support site where the plugin devs and expert users can help you.

    Thanks for your reply.

I’ve tested what you asked. In short, it happens everywhere when linking to a BBpress forum, topic or reply. When linking to a page or post everything works as expected.
Therefor I presume it’s a BBpress related error and I will open a ticket with there support. I’ll mark this one as resolved.

    Thanks and best regards.
