wp_get_archives by event-dates

Hi,

Is there any way to filter a result of all-in-one-calendar events by month/year?
“wp_get_archives(‘type=monthly&format=option&post_type=ai1ec_event’)” does not work and even if it would work it would be a filter by creation-date and not by event-date.
