# wp_options problem?

 * wp_options: Incorrect file format ‘wp_options’
 * I am getting a database connection error
    and the above message is what i get
   after letting wordpress try to repair the database
 * so my site is still not working, any help is very much appreciated.

 * First, do you have a backup to restore from? If not, ask your hosting provider
   if they do (but don’t ask them to restore it just yet). It’s best to move forward
   with a backup ready, just in case.
 * If you have a backup ready to go, try repairing your database through phpMyAdmin
