# wp_remote_get: cURL error

 * I am working on the site locally and every now and then I keep getting
 * **wp_remote_get**: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30002 milliseconds
   with 0 bytes received. [Check Site Health](http://blegal.local/wp-admin/site-health.php)
   Site Health Status
 * **I disabled all the plugins and used the default WordPress theme but I still
   get the error.**

 * I was able to fix by making my local site SSL certified. Now I am not receiving
   the error, thanks!
