 * Hi,
    I’m trying to load a Page from my site using the Salient theme that uses
   VC/WPBakery. When the popup loads, I get the unrendered VC/WBP shortcodes:
 *     ```
       <div id="modal-ready">[vc_row type=”full_width_background” full_screen_row_position=”middle” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” column_margin=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none” shape_type=””][vc_column column_padding=”padding-5-percent” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″][image_with_animation image_url=”605″ alignment=”center” animation=”Fade In” hover_animation=”none” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/2″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” overlay_strength=”0.3″ column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]
       <h1 style="text-align: center;">this is the heading</h1>
       [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]</div>
       ```
 * I saw in another post here recently you mention wrapping the Page contents in`
   <div id="modal-ready"></div>` so I did that, but it makes no difference.
 * How do I get the VC/WPB shortcodes to render?
 * You could try adding “modal-ready” to the ID of the WPBakery row. I know people
   have gotten success using that method and we have that example in the demo site(
 * I have `id="modal-ready"` in my code for the popup already. Or are you saying
   add it to the calling page code?
 * Add the ID to the row settings in the backend editor of WP Bakery (when you click
   the pencil icon)
 * UPDATED: I’ve already added the ID “modal-ready” to the row I want display in
   the popup. That hasn’t made any difference. Your popup template actually already
   has <div id=”modal-ready”> in it??
 * The popup is still loading the contents of the page without processing any of
   the VC shortcodes. Here’s what the popup looks like: [https://imgur.com/MC0wAMV](https://imgur.com/MC0wAMV)
 * That’s strange. Something must be interfering with the shortcodes being processed.
   This seems to be unique to your site, because I was not able to reproduce [https://wp-post-modal.allureprojects.com/](https://wp-post-modal.allureprojects.com/)
