# WPCF7_Shortcode is deprecated issue

 * Hello.
 * First of all, thank you for this beautiful plugin. It helped us a lot of time.
 * The Contact Form 7 Version 5.1.4 and Contact Form 7 Multi Step Version 1.1 throws
   this notice:
 * —
    Notice: WPCF7_Shortcode is **deprecated** since Contact Form 7 version 4.6!
   Use WPCF7_FormTag instead. —
 * As we understand it can be fixed by changing single line in /frontend/init.php.
 * We have fixed the problem for ourselves already and hope new patch will be released
   soon for new users.
 * Thank you.

 * Thank you for trying to help out the community here, but I believe the plugin
   you are referring to is a different plugin. This forum is for the Contact Form
   7 Multi-Step Forms plugin by Webhead LLC. It is currently on version 3.1.2 and
   does not have a /front-end/init.php file.
