 * Hey guys. I’ve just migrated from a WP.com hosted blog to a self-hosted wp blog.
 * I’m using a free host-ed.net account. I bought my domain from domain.com.
 * PROBLEM: I want my stats-so I installed the wp.com stats plugin. Everything was
   smooth, until it asked for my API key. SO I go my old wp.com API key and entered
   it.
 * Here’s where the prob happened. It said the following after I entered in my key:
 * > Error from last API Key attempt:
   >  Your blog was unable to connect to WordPress.
   > com. Please ask your host for help. (transport error – could not open socket:)
 * WHAT DO I DO??? Thnx

 * I get the same thing but didn’t upgrade. It’s a new site with all new accounts,
   etc. Akismet accepts the key but stats doesn’t. Lot’s of forums on this but nothing
   that has worked yet. Ever figure it out?
